Dungeons & Raids

Raids

The three large instances, their second tiers, and what makes them different from mission dungeons.

Raids are the game's big-group instanced content. There are three, each with two tiers, and they follow different rules from ordinary dungeons.

RaidTiersLevel
Nest of the Snow DragonNormal, Hero40, then 45
Cocasus Rock PitNormal, Hard50
Temple of AgonyNormal, Hard60, twenty players

The second tier is chosen with the Hero / Hard button in the raid entrance window, beside the normal one.

What is different from a mission dungeon

  • Entry costs 3 dungeon coins, three times a mission dungeon, and again every member pays.
  • There is no clear grade. The EXCELLENT-to-F ladder does not apply to raids, so raid rewards are not rank-gated.
  • The second tier is genuinely harder, not a reskin. Nest of the Snow Dragon's Hero tier adds two patrol packs of Little Snow Dragons flanking the boss arena that the normal tier never spawns.

Raid gear was re-levelled on 3 September

Every piece of raid equipment used to carry the top level of its whole cap band, so a raid you could enter at level 20 handed out level-35 weapons - 92 of the 135 raid rows sat above their own raid's level, against none of the 1,134 dungeon rows. Two things changed:

  • A piece now requires its own raid's level, not the cap's.
  • Weapons and off-hands moved to the last raid of a cap, swapping with the accessories, so the strongest pieces come from the top of the band rather than the bottom.

Magnitudes were re-solved on the game's own level curve for the new levels, and no piece is weaker than 1.10x the same-level blue set. The profession gate did not move - it is still pinned to the set.

Before you queue

  • Bring the level, the coins and a full party. A member short on coins silently blocks the whole entry.
  • Rewards pay on the clear. A raid abandoned near the end pays nothing.
