Guilds & Economy

Guilds

Guild Points, the five guild levels, donating gear, and the ten guild buff skills.

Guilds are created, levelled and equipped at one place in the world: the Guild Master NPC in Gaiyan Town. Six other NPCs carry a guild role and offer nothing, so if a guild NPC has no options you are at the wrong one.

Guild Points

The guild's experience is called Guild Point. It is earned two ways:

  • Every logged-in member earns the guild a point each hour. Simply playing together grows the guild.
  • Donations. Any member can hand equipment or materials to the guild for points.

Guild Point is spent at level-up, so each level starts again from zero. Growing a guild is a repeated climb rather than one long accumulation.

Donating

Talk to the Guild Master and choose Donate equipment. The window opens empty:

  1. Drag an item from your bag onto the slot. It shows the item's real icon and name.
  2. For a material, a quantity box opens - donate the whole stack or only part of it.
  3. Press Donate.

The Ranking button on the same window opens Top Donors, the guild's contribution ledger, so who has actually carried the guild is on the record rather than a matter of opinion.

What it is worth:

DonationValued on
Equipmentits level, its rarity and its refine grade
Materialsthe material's own value times the number of units, up to a cap

There is a daily donation limit, shown in the window as how many you have left today. Untradable items, items that are not eligible, and unidentified (sealed) items are all refused - identify a piece first if you mean to donate it.

Donated points reach the guild immediately.

Levelling the guild

Only the guild master can level the guild, and it costs:

  • the master's own gold, not the guild bank
  • Guild Point, which is consumed

A small, active guild reaches level 2 in about a week.

Guild skills

Guild buff skills are bought once for the whole guild by the master, and then any member can cast them from a quick slot. Each lasts 30 minutes. There are ten, at five levels each, and the guild's level decides which ones are available at all - guild level gates breadth, while Guild Point and gold gate depth.

The full tree is a serious investment - hundreds of thousands of Guild Point and tens of millions of gold - so pick the order that fits how your guild plays.

Leaving your faction leaves your guild. A faction switch removes you from the guild automatically, and a guild master cannot switch at all without handing the guild over first.
