PRIVACY POLICY

This policy explains what data the game Legend of Edda: Pegasus (on PC and on Android) and this website collect, why we collect it, who else sees it, how long we keep it, and what you can do about it — including deleting your account.

Who we are

Legend of Edda: Pegasus (the game, its Android app and this website, legendofedda.gg) is operated by IndigoWare, the trade name under which Wesley Jacques Rosa (CNPJ 34.130.099/0001-68, Rua Fernando Pedrosa, 201, Apt 21 – Jardim Primavera, São Paulo – SP, CEP 02755-150, Brasil) operates. IndigoWare decides how your data is used and is the controller responsible for it under Brazil's LGPD (Lei 13.709/2018). “We” and “us” mean IndigoWare.

What we collect

We only collect what the game and the site need in order to work:

  • Account data: your username and password, and — if you registered on this website — your e-mail address and the language you signed up in. The password is stored by the game service so the game can check it when you log in.
  • Sign-in data from Steam, Discord or Google, if you use one of them: the identifier that provider gives us (for Steam, your SteamID), and for Discord and Google the e-mail address and display name they share. We never receive your password at that provider.
  • Gameplay data: your characters and everything about them — level, class, items, gold and in-game currency, quests, titles, guild and party membership, friends list, in-game mail, rankings and achievements — and logs of game events such as items gained, traded or sold, monsters defeated and dungeons entered. We use these logs to run the game, investigate cheating and help you when something goes wrong.
  • Chat: messages you send in the game are processed by our servers to deliver them to other players, and may be recorded in server logs used for moderation. Saved chat macros are stored with your account.
  • Connection data: the IP address you log in from and the time, recorded by the game's login server, and a record of which game version you entered the world with, used to keep the game secure and to stop banned players returning.
  • Purchase data: when you buy something through Steam, an order record with your SteamID, the item, amount, currency, the time and your IP address at the moment of purchase. The IP address is also sent to Valve, which requires it. Payment details (card numbers and the like) are handled entirely by Steam; we never see them.
  • Crash and diagnostic data: when the game crashes it writes a log on your own device. That log stays on your device and is only sent to us if you choose to send it. The Android app does not include any analytics or advertising SDK.
  • Website data: newsletter subscription (your e-mail, language and whether you unsubscribed), the invite token from an invite link you used, and the technical data any web server receives (IP address, browser type, pages requested).

Why we use it

To provide the game and your account (the service you asked for); to keep the game fair and secure, prevent fraud and enforce the rules of conduct (our legitimate interest in running a safe game); to send the e-mails you asked for and, only with your consent, the newsletter and advertising measurement; and to keep the records the law requires, such as purchase records for tax purposes.

Cookies

Functional cookies keep you signed in, remember the language you chose, and remember an invite link you arrived from. Blocking them will break sign-in and language selection.

Advertising cookies are used only if you accept them in the banner shown on your first visit. They let Google, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok and Reddit measure whether our ads led you to the game's Steam page, and show our ads to people who visited this site. If you decline, none of them are loaded. To change your choice, clear this site's data in your browser and the banner will ask again. The game and the Android app contain no advertising. We do not sell your data.

Who else sees your data

We share data only with the providers needed to run the game and the site, and only for that purpose:

  • Valve (Steam): your SteamID and sign-in ticket when you log in with Steam, purchase details when you buy through Steam, and achievement unlocks.
  • Discord and Google, if you sign in with them; Discord also if you link it to use the game's voice channels, which places you in channels by party, guild or faction.
  • Resend, which delivers our account and newsletter e-mails.
  • Our hosting providers, which run the game servers and serve this website.
  • Google Play, which distributes the Android app under Google's own privacy policy.
  • Google, Meta, TikTok and Reddit, only if you accept advertising cookies on this website.
  • Other players see what any online game shows: your character names, appearance, guild, rankings and the messages you send. Hall of Fame announcements name characters, never accounts.

Where it is stored

Our servers and providers may be located outside your country. When data leaves Brazil or the European Economic Area we rely on the safeguards those providers offer for international transfers.

How long we keep it

Account and gameplay data are kept for as long as your account exists; when you delete it they are deleted, or permanently cut off from any name or account where the game has no way to delete them (see below). Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Game logs and connection logs (including the IP address you log in from) are deleted once they are 12 months old. Purchase records are kept for 5 years, because tax and consumer law require it. Backups are overwritten within 14 days. Cookies expire on their own; the invite cookie is short-lived.

Deleting your account

You can ask us to delete your account at any time on the account deletion page, legendofedda.gg/delete-account, whether or not you can still sign in. After you confirm, there is a 7-day period in which you can change your mind; the account is then deleted within 30 days of your confirmation. That page lists exactly what is deleted and what is kept, and for how long.

Your rights

You may ask us for confirmation that we hold your data and for a copy of it, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it or your account, ask which providers we share it with, and withdraw consent for e-mails or advertising cookies at any time. Every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link. In Brazil these rights come from the LGPD (Lei 13.709/2018) and you may also complain to the ANPD; in the European Union and the United Kingdom they come from the GDPR and you may complain to your data protection authority. Write to contact@legendofedda.gg; we answer within 15 days.

Children

The game and this website are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.

Security

Access to the game database is restricted to the game servers and to staff who need it, connections to the website are encrypted, and sign-in links and tokens expire. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and tell you in the game or by e-mail when the change is significant.
